Angelus est un projet musical, plus qu'un groupe... Compositeur aux influences classique et électro, The Angelus (alias Yanis Rosseman), nous propose un univers bien à lui. Yanis commence la musique à 12 ans, en apprenant seul le solfège et ses deux instruments fétiches, la guitare et le piano. Il fait ses premières compositions à l'âge de 16 ans, en écoutant Rachmaninov, Orff, Massive Attack, Dead Can dance, Gainsbourg.... A 19 ans, il va suivre des cours au conservatoire de Perpignan. Il étudiera l'acousmatique, la musique minimaliste et contemporaine. Il aura la chance de rencontrer Yann Tiersen, qui l'encouragera à continuer dans l'écriture pour orchestre...
